We have a Kwanzaa celebration to educate children
(and adults) on the Kwanzaa holiday. Last year’s celebration
was a tribute to Rosa Parks. The Kwanzaa celebration concludes with
a highly competitive fashion show where families model Afrocentic clothing.
It always come back to the kids. Whether
it is bowling, museum visits, train rides and cookouts, sometimes
we give the mothers a break, gather all the kids, and go have fun.
